Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt and URCC founder Alvin Aguilar was victorious in Japan
Universal Reality Combat Championship founder Alvin Aguilar won the gold medal in the Black Belt Master 3 category in the ongoing 2016 Asian Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) Championship in Japan.
Aguilar, who has a first degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a black belt in Shotokan, was among the six fighters in his category.
Akichika Tanji finished second, while in third place were Minoru Usui and Gaku Inano.
Aguilar is also the first Filipino black belt to win a match in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships in 2010.
