Pinay BJJ practicioner wins gold in Vietnam

Decorated Pinay Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practicioner Meggie Ochoa added yet another honor to her list of accolades after claiming gold in the Asian Beach Games in Da Nang, Vietnam.
The 26-year old Ochoa outgrappled Thailand's Suwanan Boonsorn in the finals of the ne-waza women's 45-kg category, Sunday.
The petite purple belter no stranger to the top of the podium, as she is a three-time IBJJF World Championships gold medalist and two-time IBJJF Asian Championships gold medalist.
Fellow BJJ practicioners Gian Dee took home silver in the ne-waza men's 62-kg division, while Apryl Eppinger and Jenina Napolis both scored bronze medals in the ne-waza women's 62-kg and 55-kg divisions respectively
Muay Thai practitioners Philip Delarmino (bantamweight), Jonathan Polosan (light welterweight), and Jay Harold Gregorio (middleweight) will also take home bronze medals.
Three Pinoy Kurash wrestlers, Dennis Catipon (men's 73-kg), Helen Dawa (women's 52-kg), and Jenielou Mosqueda (women's 57-kg) all won bronze medals.
Finally, the women's beach Sepak Takraw trio of Josefina Maat, Gelyn Evora, and Deseree Autor also scored bronze medals.
