Sports newscast 'Gametime' with Migs Bustos headlines ANC's revamped slate
Seasoned NCAA sports commentator Migs Bustos headlines the 30-minute sports show, “Gametime”, airing weekdays at 9:30 PM on ANC.
ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, formally launched its new lineup of programs headlined by the new morning show “Early Edition,” primetime news program “The Bureau,” and the daily sports newscast “Gametime”.
“Gametime”, hosted by our very own Migs Bustos, is a 30-minute sports newscast airing weekdays at 9:30pm, featuring the latest sports highlights, game recaps, exclusive interviews, and interactive segments.
Migs is a seasoned commentator for the NCAA and contributes stories to Channel 2’s news program Bandila and articles and analysis to ABS-CBN's sports website http://sports.abs-cbn.com. He began his young career as a sports analyst for ABS-CBN S+A's “The Score,” DZMM’s “Fastbreak,” and ANC’s “Hardball,” before venturing into newscasting as an anchor for “ANC Headlines.”
A sports aficionado since childhood, Migs is living out his dream as the main man of ANC’s newest sports show. He said his initial goal was just to be able to call games as a sports commentator, but his hard work and faith paid off and opened even more doors for him.
On “Gametime,” Migs promises to bring the energy of the games to the newscast, providing sharp analysis of performances and issues in sports for the day while also offering a means of entertainment and knowledge for the Pinoy sports fan.
“When a viewer gets home from a tiring day, the best way to relax is by watching the program. The analysis and in-depth coverage of sports events is also something they should watch out for.” he said.
