Former and current De La Salle athletes, sports personalities and fans are one in pouring out their support for Rio Olympian Yan Lariba who is battling an Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
They turned to social media to announce that the table tennis star and former UAAP athlete of the year is in need of Type O positive blood. Some even started the hashtag #KayaMoYan to spread the plea for blood and prayers for the former Lady Archer paddler, who completed her UAAP service for the green and white undefeated.
Lariba competed in the Southeast Asian Games and was the first-ever Filipina table tennis bet that earned a slot for the quadrennial meet.
An official statement on her condition was announced through social media.
