Five things to know about SEAG gold medalist Nikko Huelgas
Nikko looks like someone, but we can't quite put our finger on it...

We all know that Nikko Huelgas is one heck of a triathlete.

Recently, Huelgas captured his second Southeast Asian Games gold medal, defending his Men's Triathlon crown at the 2017 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This, and his other accolades should speak for themselves, but there's more to Huelgas than just his abilities on the course.

One peek at his Instagram account, and we found out a bunch of stuff about the Pinoy athlete.

1. He is a man of many hats.

Nikkko is famous for his achievements as a triathlete, but not many people may know that the 26-year old is the Chairman of the National Athlete's Commission, aside from also being a motivational speaker and a commercial model...which shouldn't be a surprise given that he's quite the looker.

2. He looks A LOT like Rico Blanco.

Speaking of looks, doesn't he look kinda like former Rivermaya frontman Rico Blanco?

No, really, he looks A LOT like Rico Blanco.

3. Dude's a MAJOR FOODIE.

Even the bio on his website says "Food and Travel Enthusiast."

On his Instagram account, if it isn't competing, training, or shoes, it's food.

From the fancy to the familiar, Nikko likes 'em all...and yet he stays in fantastic shape, which really isn't fair for the rest of us.

4. He's been happily taken for the last five years.

Pretty self-explanatory, really. But we're sure there are some people out there, asking.

5. He's living a childhood dream.

There are many who stumble onto greatness, but for Nikko, his journey began as a kid in Las Piñas, who 'dreamed of becoming a National Athlete.'

Now, after years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice, Nikko isn't just simply a National Athlete, rather, he's one of the best that the country has today.

For the time you've put in and for glory you've brought to the country, thank you, Nikko Huelgas, and congratulations once again!
