Seventeen year-old Filipino wakeboarder Raphael "Raph" Trinidad finished second place in the open category of the IWWF World Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships at Pampa Wake Park, Buenos Aires last Sunday.
More than 180 riders from 28 countries converged in Argentina for the annual tourney.
Defending open men's IWWF world champion Lior Sofer of Israel kept his strong hold of the title after earning gold.
Settling for bronze was Ryan Peacock of Great Britain.
The Trinidad is slated to return to Manila on Thursday.
