National marathon bet Poliquit passes away

National track and field team member Rafael Poliquit passed away Thursday.
He was 30.
The marathoner and last year’s Milo Marathon National Finals champion, died of complications from subdural empyema.
Poliquit has been complaining of headaches and migraine attacks. He was confined at V. Luna Medical Center since Friday last week.
The Philippine Sports Commission posted in its FB page the passing of Poliquit.
Poliquit was supposed to represent the country in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in November along with Olympian Mary Joy Tabal.
