Gilas Pilipinas’ World Cup preparations take a hit.

Forward Poy Erram suffered a minor injury Monday as the national team resumed practice at the Meralco Gym.

During scrimmage, Erram tried to go up for a putback but then landed awkwardly on the floor, tweaking his right ankle in the process.

His night ended early and he had to ice his foor to prevent further swelling.

“Natapilok lang. Medyo masakit pero kaya naman,” Erram said.

Fortunately, Erram’s injury appears to be nothing serious.

“Check pa bukas kung ano pwede gawin,” he added.
