Gilas Pilipinas is hard at work preparing for the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.
On Thursday, Gilas wrapped up its fourth pracrice for this week and they head to Friday with a showdown against Australia’s Adelaide 36ers.
But even as the national team amp up the intensity in training, Gilas still has reasons to smile and celebrate things outside of basketball.
Also on Thursday, naturalized center Andray Blatche celebrated his birthday and the national team showered him with songs, food, cakes, and liquor on top of their well wishes.
