At 33, the 2019 FIBA World Cup might as well be Andray Blatche’s last major tournament for Gilas Pilipinas.

He still has no replacement.

A number of willing candidates have popped up here and there and it seems like the most popular choice right now is San Miguel’s Chris McCullough.

Everyone seems high on McCullough right now, and that includes Marcus Douthit, Gilas’ former naturalized center and guy Blatche replaced five years ago.

McCullough has signified his desire to play for Gilas in the middle of San Miguel’s conference and it hasn’t changed now.

With Blatche getting up there in age, the search for his replacement in Gilas is on.
