SEA Games: Perkins dominates in Gilas win over Myanmar

MANILA — Jason Perkins is out here dominating 3x3 basketball in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

Perkins had another big game, leading Gilas Pilipinas to a strong 21-10 win over Myanmar Sunday at the Filoil Flying V Center here.

After scoring nine points in the opening win against Indonesia, Perkins dropped 10 points against Myanmar.

The Phoenix big man scored seven of the Philippines’ last eight points, including the final three to secure the win.

Gilas is 2-0 in the tournament so far.

CJ Perez came off the bench to add six points for Gilas while Mo Tautuaa and Chris Newsome had a combined five points.
