SEA Games: Gilas powers past Thailand again to make Finals

MANILA — Gilas Pilipinas cannot be stopped.

The Philippines rolled to the gold medal game of men’s 3x3 basketball in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games here, once again taking care of Thailand for a 21-11 win Monday.

Gilas is 7-0 in the tournament entering the Finals.

Jason Perkins continues to tear it up in 3x3 action, leading Gilas with seven points.

Mo Tautuaa also played great, finishing with six points including the final trey for the win. CJ Perez and Chris Newsome added five and three points, respectively.

Gilas can earn the country a gold medal later in the way. The Philippines will wait for the winenr of Vietnam and Indonesia in the Finals.
