MANILA — Gilas Pilipinas was perfect all the way.

The Philippines made quick work of Indonesia Monday at the Filoil Flying V Center here, scoring a convincing 21-9 victory to win a gold medal in 3x3 basketball.

Gilas 3x3 went unbeaten in eight games, beating Indonesia first and last for the gold.

CJ Perez was all over the place for Gilas, giving the Philippines an 11-point lead.

Mo Tautuaa sealed the golden win with a booming trey for the Philippines.

Perez finished with a team-high 10 points, scoring the national team's first four baskets for a strong start.

Chris Newsome and Jason Perkins both scored four points while Tautuaa was good for three points.

With the Philippines taking gold, Indonesia settled for silver in the first-ever 3x3 men's basketball tournament in the SEA Games. Vietnam got the bronze medal.
