Pinoy golfer Miguel Tabuena added another achievement to his growing trophy collection.
Fresh from winning the Philippine Open and a 4th place finish at the Singapore Open, Tabuena was runner-up in the Maybank championship this time in Malaysia.
And with this latest win, he's getting closer to securing a post in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The 2015 PSA Athlete of the Year was impressive at the Royal Selangor Golf Club and a birdie at the 18th hole gave him a final score of 68, 13 under par.
Tabuena was a joint runner-up with Korean Soomin Lee behind Australia's Marcus Frasier and ended up with 12.4 million pesos in prize money, the biggest of his career.
With his Maybank performance, Tabuena is now number 2 in the Asian Tour Order of Merit and number 46 in the International Golf Federation Olympic Rankings.
The top 60 will make it to Rio.
Angelo Que, another pinoy golfer, is also in the top 60 at number 51.
