Pinay golfer Pagdanganan tops 2019 LPGA Q-School Stage 1

Filipina golfer Bianca Pagdanganan finished atop the table of the 2019 LPGA and Symetria Tour Qualifying Tournament Stage 1 which was held at the Rancho Mirage in California from August 22 to 25. 

The Quezon City native finished the opening round tied at 20th place after shooting a 2-under par 70. 

Pagdanganan picked up the pace in the second round and shot a round-best 5-under par 67 to jump up to second place. 

In the third-round, Pagdanganan shot another 2-under par 70 to grab a share of the lead before firing off a 4-under par 68 to secure the top spot in the fourth round. 

With the top-seeded finish, Pagdanganan advances to Stage 2 of the tournament which will be held in Venice, Florida from October 14-17th. 

The 21-year old Pagdanganan, a 2018 Asian Games Gold Medalist, is currently playing for the University of Arizona in the collegiate ranks.
