It was back in 2014 when we first met Filipino-British kart racer Alex Brown.
At 11 years old, Alex was already making a name for himself in the Southeast Asian karting scene, winning races in Singapore and Malaysia.
Now, nearly three years later, Alex is still tearing it up on the tracks, and he's just getting better.
The Singapore-based 14-year old recently earned a berth in the IAME X30 World Championships in Le Mans by reigning supreme in the Juniors Division of the inaugural X30 Southeast Asia tournament in Singapore and Malaysia.
A series of six races across three circuits, Alex displayed dominance by capturing the championship after just five races.
“I am extremely proud of this championship and so thrilled to be driving for the region. I always race to win for my family, friends and team but representing Southeast Asia will give me extra motivation. I want to do us proud.” Alex said.
The X30 World Championships in Le Mans, France takes place on October 15th.
