Makati defeated Paranaque, Bacolod defeated Muntinlipa, and Valenzuela defeated Nueva Ecija
Makati imposed its will before registering a 91-71 romp over Paranaque, Friday inside Manila's San Andres Sports Complex.
Jong Baloria made the most out time on the floor by scoring 18 points in just 16 minutes of play while Cedric Ablaza had for himself 12 markers, eight rebounds, and two assists in the SuperCrunch's third win in as many games in the MPBL Lakan Cup.
Jeckster Apinan also posted a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double to make sure Makati had all the answers for whatever the Patriots were putting up.
Rene Boy Banzali was the lone bright spot for 1-3 Paranaque with 16 points.
Meanwhile, rookie team Bacolod continued to impress, this time with a convincing 98-86 victory versus league stalwart Muntinlupa.

With that, the Classic rose to 2-1 while the MiGuard recoiled to 1-3.
