Team Pacquiao headlines the first-ever winners of the MPBL All-Star 3x3 tournaments.

Now partnered with Chooks-to-Go, the Maharlika ng Pilipinas Basketball League added 3x3 games to its annual All-Star festivies and Team Pacquiao got the honor of getting the first win Thursday at the MOA Arena.

Team Pacquiao, with Thirdy Ravena, Troy Rike, and Alvin Pasaol, beat Team Kobe in the celebrity 3x3 game, 21-15.

"Sobrang sarap to play 3x3 game again," said Ravena who scored eight points in the win.

"I haven't played this game for a long time," Thirdy added. Team Pacquiao also P100,000 on top of the victory.

Team Kobe, coached by Kobe Paras, had Joshua Munzon, Gerald Anderson, Marco Alcaraz, and Juan Gomez de Liano.

In the other 3x3 game, the North All-Stars got a close 21-19 over the South All-Stars.

Making up the North All-Stars are Pasay's Jaypee Belencion, Bulacan's JR Alabanza, Valenzuela's Paulo Hubalde, and Manila's Aris Dionisio. Hubalde connected on two straight hits from deep to turn a 17-19 deficit into a two-point win.

Zamboanga's Leo De Vera, Bacoor's Nick Demusis, Mindoro's Rodel Vaygan, and Imus' Jayjay Helterbrand form the South.
