David Lee retires from the NBA after 12 seasons

David Lee announced his retirement after 12 years in the league on Instagram.
Lee played for five different teams during his career, including winning a championship with the Golden State Warriors in 2015.
Lee, who was drafted by the New York knicks with the 30th pick in the 2005 Draft, was a two-time All-Star selection. He was selected to the 2012-13 All-NBA Third Team when he averaged 18.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game for the Golden State Warriors.
The 34-year-old forward, who finished his career averaging 13.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, played for the San Antonio Spurs in his final season.
