After his success against MMA star Conor McGregor, it looks like Floyd Mayweather is ready to move on to new challenges.
Namely a game of hoops against retired NBA superstar Kobe Bryant.
Mayweather challenged Bryant, who just had his two jersey numbers retired by the LA Lakers earlier this week, to a 1-on-1 game for $1 million, throwing down the gauntlet in the comments of Bryant's latest Instagram post.
The undefeated Mayweather (50-0, 27 KO) is a frequent sight at NBA games, often sitting courtside at big games.
He might have bitten off more than he can chew in this instance though. Bryant is not only a year younger at 39-years-old, he also has a distinct height advantage at 6'6" compared to Mayweather's 5'8", without even getting into the Black Mamba's obvious prowess at the sport.
Will Kobe respond to "Money" Mayweather's words? We'll just have to wait and see.
