Fil-Am guard Sedrick Barefield is heading back to school.
The 6'2" Utah Utes point guard will play his senior season in the US NCAA, according to a report by Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune, citing multiple sources.
Barefield did not hire an agent, which allows him to withdraw his name for consideration from the 2018 NBA Draft.
The LA Lakers and the Utah Jazz had tapped Barefield for pre-draft workouts.
