Blazer5 Gaming won THE TURN, the second tournament of the NBA 2K League season, defeating Celtics Crossover Gaming 92-78.

The single-elimination tournament began on Friday, June 8 (Saturday, June 9, PHL time) with a play-in game and eight additional matchups, with the eight winners moving on to Saturday’s (Sunday, PHL time) rounds.

On their way to the championship game, the No. 1 seed Blazer5 Gaming notched victories against Raptors Uprising GC in the first round, Magic Gaming in the Quarterfinals and Knicks Gaming in the Semifinals. Seeding was determined by a team’s performance during the four weeks of regular-season games preceding THE TURN.

In addition to prize money, Blazer5 Gaming is also taking home the coveted steel champion banner – one of three banners that link together to form THE BANNER CHAIN.

Weekly matchups resume next Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16 (June 16 and 17, PHL time), and will run for four weeks leading up to the third tournament of the season in July. The season concludes with the NBA 2K League Playoffs and Finals in August.

All competition is streamed on Twitch and takes place at the NBA 2K League Studio Powered by Intel in New York City.
