Stephen Curry first visited the Philippines back in September 5, 2015. He was just coming off an enthralling MVP and championship season with the Golden State Warriors and he's still on the rise.

Now a three-time champ and considered as one of the deadliest snipers in the history of the game, Curry will return to Philippine shores this September 6 to 8.

Under Armour will be bringing Curry to Manila in the first stop on a tour of Asian countries that includes Japan and China, to promote his new Curry 5 signature basketball shoe.

Back in 2015, Curry promised that he wants to return to Manila, and after three long years, he'll make good on that vow.

Before his much-anticipated return, let's look back at the most memorable moments from Steph's first Manila visit!

LUCKY KID

Steph has a knack for making dreams come true.

Curry picked a lucky kid to play him in a game of 1-on-1. The kid was Dominic Tuason, then seven years old, and he nearly scored over the champ a couple of times before finally connecting on a floater.

UP Fighting Maroon Ricci Rivero, then a player for the La Salle Greenhills, was part of the clinic, and was showing off his hops to the MVP.

But Curry was not to be outdone, as he throws a two-handed slam down, off the bounce to cap off his stellar visist.

DANIEL PADILLA MEETS STEPH

Before Curry even came to the Philippines, Kapamilya idol Daniel Padilla already followed, and got followed by the Warriors point guard on Instagram.

Come showtime, Daniel was able to meet Steph, and his priceless reaction says it all.
