NEW YORK – Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving has been fined $25,000 for throwing the basketball into the spectator stands, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred at the conclusion of the Celtics’ 115-107 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 5 (Nov. 6, PHL time) at Pepsi Center.
