NEW YORK – Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin has been fined $15,000 for verbal abuse of a game official, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred at the conclusion of the Pistons’ 100-94 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday, Jan. 14 (Tuesday, Jan. 15, PHL time) at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
