Suns' Booker fined for altercation with Dieng

NEW YORK - Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has been fined $25,000 for escalating an on-court altercation by pushing Minnesota Timberwolves center Gorgui Dieng in the face, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident, for which Booker and Dieng were each assessed a technical foul and ejected, occurred with 5:24 remaining in the third quarter of the Timberwolves’ 118-91 win over the Suns on Jan. 22 (Jan. 23, PHL time) at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
