DETROIT (AP) — LeBron James will miss Friday night’s (Saturday, PHL time) game for the Los Angeles Lakers at Detroit.

The Lakers, who have fallen well off the pace in the Western Conference playoff race, have been managing James’ minutes down the stretch. He’s played under 34 minutes in each of the team’s past four games, including Thursday night’s (Friday, PHL time) loss at Toronto, but this will be the first game he’s missed entirely since Feb. 2 (Feb. 3, PHL time).

Lonzo Ball (left ankle), Tyson Chandler (neck) and Brandon Ingram (right arm) are also out for the Lakers, and Josh Hart (right knee) is questionable.

Reggie Jackson (right ankle) is questionable for the Pistons.
