While he went unselected in the 2019 NBA Draft, Fil-Am guard Sedrick Barefield will reportedly be suiting up for the Oklahoma City Thunder's Las Vegas Summer League team.
Undrafted rookie Sedrick Barefield will play the Summer League for the Oklahoma City Thunder, a source told me— Emiliano Carchia (@Carchia) June 21, 2019
That's per a report by Sportando's Emiliano Carchia.
Barefield averaged 16.8 points (40.8 FG%, 38.7 3FG%), 2.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 0.9 steals in 31 games (28 starts) in his senior year with the Utah Utes.
The 6'2" guard was recognized for his strong play, as he was named to the All-PAC 12 First Team in his final collegiate season.
Barefield actually tested the draft waters last season, working out for the LA Lakers and the Utah Jazz, before withdrawing his name for consideration from the 2018 Draft and returning to school.
