Over the final 12 games of the 2018-19 season, Michael Carter-Williams proved to be a solid player for the Orlando Magic as they charged toward the playoffs. He was solid in playoffs, too, and that play may have helped secured him another year in Orlando.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports Carter-Williams has agreed to a one-year deal with the Magic. The former Kia Rookie of the Year winner averaged 5.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 12 games for Orlando, then went for 6.6 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 2.4 apg in the playoffs as Orlando lost in five games in the first round to the eventual-champion Toronto Raptors.
