Karl-Anthony Towns, Trae Young named NBA Players of the Week

Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns and Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young have been named the NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 1 of the 2019-20 season (Oct. 23-28, PHL time).

Other nominees for Western Conference Player of the Week were Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Dallas’ Luka Don?i? and Kristaps Porzingis, Denver’s Nikola Joki?, Portland’s Damian Lillard and Houston’s Russell Westbrook.

Other nominees for Eastern Conference Player of the Week were Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving, Miami’s Kendrick Nunn, Toronto’s Pascal Siakam and Boston’s Jayson Tatum.
