NBA.com staff report
As his load management continues, Kawhi Leonard will not play today vs. the Bucks, the first of back-to-back games for the Clippers.
The NBA is aware of Leonard being sidelined -- per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski -- and has no issue with his absence from the court since the small forward has been managing a knee injury.
Bass continued: "...is comfortable with the team medical staff's determination that Leonard is not sufficiently healthy to play in back-to-back games at this time." https://t.co/UfoVeWC513— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) November 6, 2019
Leonard, who is averaging 29.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game in 30.5 minutes, has played in six of the Clippers' seven games this season.
The Clippers are riding a two-game winning streak heading into Wednesday night's (Thursday, PHL time) game with the Bucks, who are on a three-game roll.
Leonard is likely to play Thursday night (Friday, PHL time) at home against the Portland Trail Blazers.
