Report: Lakers' Rondo set to make debut vs Raptors

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo is expecting to make his season debut on Sunday (Monday, PHL time) vs. the Toronto Raptors, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Rondo has missed the Lakers' first eight games while dealing with a right calf injury.
According to Haynes, the four-time All-Star was set to test the calf one last time Saturday (Sunday, PHL time) before making his season debut for the Lakers, who are off to an 8-1 start, best in the NBA.
In his 13-year career, Rondo has averaged 10.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists. Last season, the point guard played 46 games, averaging 9.2 points and 8.0 assists in 29.8 minutes per game.
