Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo is targeting a late January, early February return from a ruptured right quad tendon, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.
Oladipo figured in 36 games in the 2018-19 season before injury, averaging 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.7 steals. He was even more sensational the previous campaign, norming a career-best 23.1 points, with 5.2 boards, 4.3 dimes, and 2.4 swipes, the latter also a personal-best.
Despite not having him so far this season, the Pacers are 21-10, winners of seven of their last 10, and tied for fifth in the East with the defending champions Toronto Raptors.
Oladipo's return would form a dynamic backcourt in Indiana with offseason signing Malcolm Brogdon.
