Long live the Black Mamba.

Kobe Bryant is back on the cover of NBA 2K, being featured in the Mamba Forever Edition of the upcoming NBA 2K21 coming later this year.

Bryant will have two covers, featuring both his jersey numbers that were retired by the Los Angeles Lakers.

The first one will be an image of his younger self, sporting his mini afro and jersey no. 8, which will be available for all current generation consoles like the PS4, the XBox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

Kobe in the no. 24 jersey is on the cover of NBA 2K21 for the next gen consoles in the PS5 and the new XBox series X.

Portland's Damian Lillard and New Orleans rookie Zion Williamson are also cover athletes for the standard edition of 2K21. Dame is on the cover for the current gen while Zion takes over for the next gen consoles.

The last time Kobe was on the cover of NBA 2K was for the Legend edition of NBA 2K17.

Bryant was also on the cover for NBA 2K10.
