Live from the NBA Campus at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the 2019-2020 NBA Season returns to action with 22 teams set to play eight seeding games each to determine post-season berths and positioning! 

After squeaking past the Los Angeles Clippers in their NBA Restart opener, the Los Angeles Lakers, the top seed in the West, face the reigning and defending world champions, the Toronto Raptors, who are the second-seeded team in the Eastern Conference!

FINAL: Toronto sweeps its season-series against the Lakers again. Raptors win inside the bubble, 107-92

The champs move to 47-18 on a five-game winning streak dating back to before the NBA season was suspended

Kyle Lowry led all scorers with 33 points on top of 14 rebounds and six assists. OG Anunoby good for 23 points on 8/9 shooting. Pascal Siakam adds 15 points and nine rebounds

Lakers shoot 35.4 percent from the field as a team. LeBron got hot early in the fourth to finish with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis struggles for only 14 points while Kyle Kuzma and Dion Waiters get 16 and 12 points respectively off the bench

The last time LA won against the Raptors? Kobe dropped a triple-double... in 2014. That's 11 straight wins for the Raptors over the purple and gold

 

FINISHING MOVES

Raptors trying to put the Lakers away. Lowly hits a fifth triple for 30 points and the champs take a 97-86 lead with three minutes left

TORONTO GETS HOT AGAIN

7-0 run for the champs capped by an OG dunk forces a Lakers timeout. Raptors up, 90-3

SPLASH ZONE

Lowry and AD trade buckets from deep. Raptors and Lakers tied at 83 inside the last seven minutes

OG Anunoby comes back with back-to-back threes of his own for Toronto. 78-76 for the Raptors

KING'S COURT

Back-to-back triples for LeBron to start the fourth and the Lakers regain the lead, 76-72

 

END OF 3: Raptors up 72-70 entering the final period

Toronto gets hot again led by Kyle Lowry to take an 11-point lead but the Lakers somehow get back into it thanks to a nice surge from Anthony Davis

AD scored 10 points in the third on a perfect 8/8 shooting from the line

 

THE CHAMP IS HERE

Lowry is up to 20 points after another triple. 58-50 Toronto as the champs own the third period so far

Kyle Lowry is fueling the Raptors in this game against the Lakers. The All-Star guard scores on a driving layup and Toronto has a 10-0 run for a 51-47 lead in the third quarter

Lowry fires his second three of the night for 15 points. Tied at 47

AD hits his first field goal of the game. Davis has three points and the Lakers lead, 46-41, to start the second half

 

HALFTIME: Rather low-scoring game but the Lakers lead, 44-41

Bench coming through for the Lake Show as LA's reserves account for 31 first-half points led by Kyle Kuzma with nine and Alex Caruso with seven points

Lowry has 11 for Toronto. OG and Paskal Siakam not far behind with nine and eight points respectively

 

Good back-and-forth between both teams. Raptors back on top, 36-33. Kyle Lowry powering the champs with 11 points, four assists, and generally being a pest for the Lakers on both ends

Lakers lead for the first time thanks to a Dion Waiters triple and then LeBron makes it a three-point game with a layup. 30-27 LA early in the second quarter

 

END OF 1: Lakers recover from a POOR start but it's Toronto maintaining a 23-21 lead. 

Raptors' OG Onunoby and Lakers' Kyle Kuzma lead all scorers so far with seven points each
