TECHNICALITY. Because CSB-LSGH had players wearing jersey numbers 20, 27, and 28, their season-opening victory is in danger of getting forfeited.
College of St. Benilde-De La Salle Greenhills started their 91st season of the NCAA Juniors basketball tournament with a bang: in both good and bad ways.
The Junior Blazers dropped the Colegio de San Juan de Letran Squires, 88-49, on Tuesday at the San Juan Arena on the back of a huge 35-point outburst from Ricci Rivero.
However, their season-opening victory is in danger of getting forfeited after CSB-LSGH utilized jersey numbers 20, 27, and 28. As per NCAA rules, teams can only use jersey numbers 00 to 19.
