SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE. Which between Letran's perfect record and Arellano's winning streak will continue?

Games on Friday at the San Juan Arena

12:00 PM – San Sebastian vs EAC

2:00 PM – Lyceum vs Mapua

4:00 PM – Letran vs Arellano

Following another classic battle between new-age rivals San Beda and Perpetual, the 91st Season of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament just doesn’t stop giving.

The country’s oldest collegiate league serves up another huge duel when the rampaging Knights of Colegio de San Juan de Letran meet the rolling Chiefs of Arellano University on Friday at the San Juan Arena.

Which continues between Letran’s perfect 5-0 record and Arellano’s four-game winning streak will be decided starting at 4:00 PM.

Aldin Ayo’s “magulo basketball” has taken the league by storm and the Knights have stood out as the best team in the early going. The non-stop full-court press remains unbreakable through five games while Mark Cruz and Rey Nambatac have staked their claim as the best backcourt by leading their team to back-to-back wins against San Beda and Perpetual.

However, standing in their way this time around will be the two guards who have the game to make a claim of their own in Jiovani Jalalon and Michael Salado. After a false start in their opener, the Chiefs have been steered by its backcourt into a full-blast offensive onslaught in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Mapua Institute of Technology hopes to get a winning streak going at the expense of Lyceum of the Philippines University at 2:00 PM.

In their most recent outing, the Cardinals played their best game of the season by destroying their opponents by 29 points for their second win in five games. On the other hand, the Pirates suffered a 15-point rout that dropped them to 1-4.

In the day’s other game at 12:00 PM, the San Sebastian College-Recoletos Golden Stags aims to keep the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals winless.

Games will air live over ABS-CBN Sports+Action 23 and BALLS HD SkyCable 167 with livestreaming on
