WAITING GAME: Rey Nambatac, Letran, as well as all the other Final Four contenders will have to wait just a bit longer
It looks like league-leading Letran will have to wait a bit for their chance to clinch a twice-to-beat advantage, as the NCAA has decided to suspend October 2’s Friday triple-header due to rains and the suspension of classes in Manila, especially in the San Juan area, where the games are held.
Four of the six teams slated to take the court Friday afternoon are all gunning for a spot in the league’s rowdy Final Four picture, with the San Sebastian Stags looking to once again play spoiler against a surging JRU Heavy Bombers squad currently tied with Arellano and Perpetual for third place.
The Mapua Cardinals, who are also in the mix with a 10-6 record had their sights set on bouncing back against the EAC Generals, while the proverbial main event was set to be an exciting matchup between Scottie Thompson’s Perpetual Altas and Mark Cruz’s Letran Knights.
With just two playing days left, expect the action to heat up in the NCAA!
