GO MAPUA. Josan Nimes will no longer be part of Mapua Institute of Technology next season.
Josan Nimes has already moved on to the next phase of his basketball career as another do-it-all guard for Rain or Shine, but his alma mater Mapua Institute of Technology will always remember his contributions to their basketball program and school community.
We caught up with Josan in this edition of ABS-CBN’s Graduation Yearbook.
How are you feeling after playing your final NCAA game – a loss at the hands of Letran?
We’re disappointed we couldn’t make it to the championship. We made it this far so why give up now. We’re still thankful and fortunate we made it this far. We made the whole Mapua community happy.

What is the legacy you will be leaving behind to the Cardinals?
That I brought some excitement back to Mapua. The three years that I played (2011, 2012, and 2015), we were in contention for the Final Four.
What is your final message to the Mapua community?
Please still support Mapua. They’re still gonna be really good next season.
