NCAA kings to be crowned in season’s final San Beda-Letran
FITTING END. The 91st Season of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament could only end with San Beda dancing with Letran one last time for all the glory.

Games on Thursday at the MOA Arena

2:00 PM – San Beda vs Arellano (Jrs.)

4:00 PM – San Beda vs Letran (Srs.)

Of course, the 91st Season of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament had to come down to one game, and not just a simple one game at that, but a winner-take-all duel between the league’s preeminent rivals.

San Beda College and Colegio de San Juan de Letran go all out to end the tournament with the biggest of bangs on Thursday at the MOA Arena.

The season’s ultimate Red Lions-Knights matchup commences at 4:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on

Ola Adeogun, Baser Amer, Art Dela Cruz will be playing their final games in red and white, Mark Cruz and Kevin Racal will be donning the blue and red for the last time, and the championship could very well hinge on which seniors want to end their collegiate careers with a championship so much more than the others.

Or perhaps, everything could come down to the supporting cast. Dan Sara, Javee Mocon, and the other Lions outplayed their counterparts as they denied the Knights’ attempt at a sweep in Game Two. Intramuros needs more from Rey Nambatac, Mcjour Luib, and company to take the title away from Mendiola.

In the day’s other game at 2:00 PM, Arellano High School seeks to build on a surprising win against once perfect San Beda High School and force their series into its own winner-take-all Game Three.

After 19 straight wins, the Red Cubs were felled for the first time in the season courtesy of inspired play by Braves Guillmer dela Torre and Carlo Abadeza. Still, San Beda needs just one more win to claim an unprecedented seventh consecutive championship as they still lead the race-to-three series, 2-1.
