NEW DAY. Perpetual will definitely look different from now on.
Finally, University of Perpetual Help put an end to its silence regarding the coaching staff of its men’s basketball team.
Replacing Aric del Rosario and his staff will be the three-headed mentorship of owner Antonio Tamayo, former player Nic Omorogbe, and Atty. Barry Neil Tobias, the school said in a statement on Tuesday.
As per Altas athletic director Jeff Tamayo, the three were appointed last Monday and will start training the team “as soon as possible.”
The development completes a major upheaval in Perpetual which had title aspirations before falling short of the Final Four in the previous NCAA season. Along with del Rosario, no longer in Las Piñas is former MVP Scottie Thompson.
