Lions eyeing to stay spotless against dangerous Generals
NOT ON OUR WATCH. Javee Mocon and San Beda's try for solo lead comes against a much improved EAC side looking to get back on track.

Games on Tuesday at the San Juan Arena

12:00 PM – Mapua vs LPU

2:00 PM – EAC vs San Beda

4:00 PM – JRU vs CSB

With a fair 1-1 record in the NCAA 92 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Emilio Aguinaldo College is already halfway there in matching their win total from a season ago.

While they acknowledge that the Generals are much better now, San Beda College still isn’t letting a statement be made at their expense when the two teams lock horns in the resumption of collegiate action on Tuesday at the San Juan Arena.

Gametime is set at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 and ABS-CBN Sports+Action HD 166 as well as on livestream via sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/ncaa.

Javee Mocon and Dan Sara were seen as the heirs apparent to Art Dela Cruz and Baser Amer, but it has been first-year player Davon Potts who has starred for the Red Lions in their back-to-back wins to begin the tournament. As further testament to their depth, names like Donald Tankoua and AC Soberano are yet to even make noise.

Nothing will come easy against EAC, however, who received high praise from San Beda coach Jamike Jarin who said, “It will be a folly to take them for granted.”

Indeed, with Hamadou Laminou and Sidney Onwubere holding down the fort all while Francis Munsayac and Jorem Morada take care of the perimeter, the Generals have become a more well-rounded team in the maiden season of coach Ariel Sison.

Meanwhile, Mapua Institute of Technology seeks to stretch their winning streak to three when they battle Lyceum of the Philippines University at 12:00 PM while Jose Rizal University and College of St. Benilde fight over win number one at 4:00 PM.
