Returning Oraeme, Mapua eyeing to send Arellano skidding
HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT. Mapua and Arellano collide in a crucial contest between teams looking to announce their legitimate contention.

Games on Tuesday at the San Juan Arena

12:00 PM – San Sebastian vs Letran

2:00 PM – Arellano vs Mapua

4:00 PM – Perpetual vs San Beda

Allwell Oraeme will not be missing back-to-back games in the 92nd Season of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Sidelined the last time around, the reigning MVP could not have chosen a better time to come back with Mapua Institute of Technology seeking to keep their spotless slate intact.

The Cardinals will need all the help they can get as they face off against Arellano University who are nothing but determined to bounce right back into the win column at the San Juan Arena, Tuesday.

The battle between two championship contenders tips off at 2:00 PM and all of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on

Mapua has come out on top on all of their three outings and the most recent one saw them surviving the absence of Oraeme due to illness. However, heading straight right at them are Jiovani Jalalon and the Chiefs who want to leave the bad taste of their first loss behind them.

Meanwhile, San Beda College pits their perfect record against University of Perpetual Help who will be putting their own winning streak on the line at 4:00 PM.

The Red Lions own a share of first-place with three consecutive victories to begin their campaign. Behind reigning Player of the Week Donald Tankoua and impressive rookie Davon Potts, they remain a contender much like they have in the last decade.

Still, the Altas are nothing but confident following back-to-back wins. They are unbeaten when Bright Akhuetie plays and the Nigerian powerhouse has promised that he will be there when they plot against their new-age rivals.

In the day’s other game at 12:00 PM, defending champion Colegio de San Juan de Letran eyes to extend their win run to four at the expense of slumping San Sebastian College-Recoletos.
