Generals moving on from Season 91 nightmare

Francis Munsayac and the Generals are learning how to win again.
To say that Emilio Aguinaldo College had a bad season last year would be a major understatement.
Season 91 for the Generals was horrible, it was a nightmare really.
EAC lost its first five games before having their one shining moment and that was beating eventual champions Letran.
After that, it was back to being horrible. To end the season, the Generals lost 11 straight including all of their games in the second round.
Season 91 was so bad for EAC that when the Generals won their opening game, they were already halfway through their win total in 2015.
But the good news for all EAC fans is that the team is already better and the current season still has one full round to go.
"Very sweet. At least we already surpassed our standing last year," head coach Ariel Sison said after his team blasted CSB for their third win.
"Very happy, very thankful for today," he added.
After a string of close games, EAC's current record should have been better. And after finally erasing last season's bitter taste, the Generals are looking forward to bigger and better things.
"Hopefully we get back on them," Sison said. "Makabawi kami sa kanila para mapakita namin na kaya na namin."
For Francis Munsayac, the team's heart and soul, all the losing allowed the Generals to keep on learning.
And they hope to use those lessons for more wins.
"Medyo pangit yung nangyari kasi ang dami naming panalo na natalo pa pero naniniwala ako sa sinabi ko sa team na yung talo namin it's not win or lose but win or learn," the diminutive point guard said.
