Archrivals San Beda, Letran fight over bounce back win
MUST-WIN. Along with school pride, San Beda and Letran will be fighting for the chance to return to winning form.

Games on Friday at the San Juan Arena

12:00 PM – San Sebastian vs Mapua

2:00 PM – LPU vs JRU

4:00 PM – Letran vs San Beda

Now in the stretch run of the NCAA 92 Men’s Basketball Tournament, San Beda College and Colegio de San Juan de Letran both find themselves in untimely slumps.

The archrivals are nothing but determined to get back on track and want nothing more than to do so at the expense of one another on Friday at the San Juan Arena.

The bell rings on San Beda-Letran Round 2 with a return to winning form on the line at 4:00 PM. All of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE on

The Red Lions are coming off their toughest loss in the tournament and have dropped two of their last three games. Their resolve will be tested even further with the loss of Cameroonian Donald Tankoua.

Still, times are more desperate for their archrival Knights who have lost four in a row. Rey Nambatac continues to put up MVP numbers, but has had a hard time finding help especially in closing out contests.

In the day’s other games, San Sebastian College-Recoletos looks to pull off a third upset in a row, this time against Mapua Institute of Technology at 12:00 PM while Jose Rizal University seeks to gain more altitude via a fourth consecutive victory, this tine versus Lyceum of the Philippines University at 2:00 PM.
