Arellano out to push defending champion Letran to the brink
WHEN I SEE YOU AGAIN. Jiovani Jalalon and Arellano have bad intentions in their rematch with defending champion Letran.

Games on Friday at the San Juan Arena

12:00 PM – JRU vs Perpetual

2:00 PM – San Beda vs LPU

4:00 PM – Arellano vs Letran

Now in possession of the lead in the NCAA 92 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Arellano University only hopes to keep it all the way into a top two finish – and the twice-to-beat advantage it brings.

The next roadblock in front of Jiovani Jalalon and his bus, however, is a team they haven’t been able to figure out in recent years – a team that just also happens to be the defending champions in the tournament.

Colegio de San Juan de Letran looks to re-assert their mastery over the Chiefs and keep pace in the playoff race on Friday at the San Juan Arena.

On the other hand, Jalalon and his bus look to run them over and it all begins at 4:00 PM. The must-win matchup for the defending champions will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A channel 23, ABS-CBN S+A HD channel 166 as well as streamed LIVE on sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/ncaa.

Meanwhile, second-running San Beda College and third-running University of Perpetual Help are seeking bounce back wins that would keep them at a comfortable distance from the three other teams chasing them.

The Red Lions want nothing more than to snap out of their downward spiral and would have to do so against upset-conscious Lyceum of the Philippines University at 2:00 PM.

Beforehand at 12:00 PM, the inconsistent Altas will go all out to ground Jose Rizal University and gain some much-needed momentum for their bid for a return to the Final Four.
