Game on Thursday in Perpetual
4:00 PM – Perpetual vs San Beda
San Beda College is, silently but surely, one of the top teams in the NCAA 92 Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Winners of their last five games, they stand just a thread behind league-leading and undefeated Lyceum of the Philippines University.
To keep their win run going, however, the Red Lions would have to travel to Las Pinas on Thursday and take on University of Perpetual Help in its own gym.
The defending champions get their first taste of the NCAA on Tour at 4:00 PM and all of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.
After being felled by the Pirates, San Beda has rang off five consecutive victories to rise to 6-1.
The Altas do not have the same sort of record and only hold a 3-4 card, but have nonetheless proven to be a dangerous team even without Bright Akhuetie.
In Juniors action, the San Beda Red Cubs seek to build on the momentum they got from a victory versus the defending champions when they take on the Perpetual Junior Altas who are on a confidence-high of their own at 2:00 PM.
San Beda (5-2) is coming off a conquest of rival Malayan High School of Science while Perpetual (3-4) is coming off an upset of Arellano High School.
