Game on Thursday in San Sebastian
4:00 PM – San Sebastian vs JRU
Even with an up-and-down ride thus far in the NCAA 93 Men’s Basketball Tournament, San Sebastian College-Recoletos finds itself just outside the top four of the standings.
However, they would have to continue their climb without main man Michael Calisaan for one game.
That’s why, with their faithful in Recto behind them, Golden Stags will go all out for back-to-back wins when they take on Jose Rizal University on Thursday.
San Sebastian hosts this week’s NCAA on Tour with the main matchup tipping off at 4:00 PM. All of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/ncaa.
Calisaan will be serving a one-game suspension after incurring two unsportsmanlike fouls the last time around. In his place, Allyn Bulanadi and Jayson David as well as Ryan Costelo and RK Ilagan will have to shoulder a heavier burden.
On the same up-and-down ride thus far are the Heavy Bombers who remain to be a squad which can beat the best as well as lose to the lowly. That much is evident with the 4-3 record they sport even with Teytey Teodoro yet to bust out in the tournament.
In Juniors action, the San Sebastian Staglets (3-5) will go for a winning streak at the expense of the 1-6 JRU Light Bombers (0-4) at 2:00 PM.
