Games on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre
12:00 PM – Mapua vs San Beda
2:00 PM – CSB vs LPU
4:00 PM – San Sebastian vs EAC
The smooth sailing continues for Lyceum of the Philippines University now in the second round in the 93rd Season of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
That doesn’t seem to change on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre when the Pirates meet with lowly College of St. Benilde.
LPU seeks to improve to 11-0 at the expense of the 2-8 Blazers who will not have suspended Carlo Young at 2:00 PM. All of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.
Meanwhile, San Beda College tries to survive the absence of Boyet Fernandez and Robert Bolick against Mapua University at 12:00 PM and Emilio Aguinaldo College and San Sebastian College-Recoletos seek to break off their tie for fifth-place at 4:00 PM.
In Juniors action, the 8-2 Malayan High School of Science Red Robins and the 6-4 San Beda High School Red Cubs figure in a rivalry game at 8:00 AM. Also, the 8-2 CSB-La Salle Greenhills Junior Blazers look to strengthen their stranglehold on the top spot up against the dangerous 4-6 LPU Junior Pirates at 10:00 AM while the 4-5 San Sebastian Staglets look to pounce on the one-win EAC Brigadiers at 6:00 PM.
