Games on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre
12:00 PM – Mapua vs San Beda
2:00 PM – CSB vs LPU
4:00 PM – San Sebastian vs EAC
Head coach Boyet Fernandez, main man Robert Bolick, and rising star Clint Doliguez will all be missing action for San Beda College on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
That sounds like a recipe for disaster especially up against desperate Mapua University, but the Red Lions believe they have just enough to keep their winning streak going in the NCAA 93 Men’s Basketball Tournament.
Double-double machine Javee Mocon will pick up the slack and the defending champions (9-1) will power through with their deep, deep lineup up against the Cardinals (1-9) at 12:00 PM. All of the action will be on S+A, S+A HD, and livestream.
Meanwhile, Lyceum of the Philippines University goes for 11-0 at the expense of College of St. Benilde at 2:00 PM and Emilio Aguinaldo College and San Sebastian College-Recoletos seek to break off their tie for fifth-place at 4:00 PM.
In Juniors action, the 8-2 Malayan High School of Science Red Robins and the 6-4 San Beda High School Red Cubs figure in a rivalry game at 8:00 AM. Also, the 8-2 CSB-La Salle Greenhills Junior Blazers look to strengthen their stranglehold on the top spot up against the dangerous 4-6 LPU Junior Pirates at 10:00 AM while the 4-5 San Sebastian Staglets look to pounce on the one-win EAC Brigadiers at 6:00 PM.
